Classic Camel

Happy chilly Monday, friends! It’s starting to really feel like winter around here, which fills me with equal parts excitement and dread. I love the layers of clothing and hate the actual cold. But I will happily take the sunshine along with the cold; dreary days drag me down. Oh and I will also happily take a coffee as big as my head to warm up today. Monday’s are made for over-caffeination.

I’ve had this sleeveless blazer vest in my closet for a couple of months, but I realized I haven’t debuted it on the blog yet. It’s been a favorite to toss on over a simple black top or turtleneck with jeans, when I need a quick and classic go to. Sometimes I find that my favorite outfits that I just toss on day to day never end up on here. I think the I talk myself out of them because of the simplicity, but there is such beauty in simple pieces combined together. I’ve found myself drawn to these classic colors lately — camel and black. They are so easy to pair together with most things already in my closet. And of course in true procrastinator fashion, as it would turn out this exact camel blazer I have on is sold out but I have spent the morning finding a few alternatives below!
