It is no secret that fall is my favorite for many reasons, fashionably speaking. Scarves, booties and layers lead the pack on reasons why fall is the best. I could easily create an open letter explaining my love for fall, if you’d like. I figured you’d like an outfit instead. I present to you the outfit that I will be wearing a lot this fall. If labor day signified the end of my summer uniform, welcome to my fall uniform.
Although we’ve had a few cooler days here, it’s not quite in the temps yet to bust out the layers and the booties. But when Sole Society’s fall collection shows up on you doorstep, you layer like no one is watching. This silk scarf is perfect for transitional weather and faking fall — it’s lightweight but full. I also have been loving a tunic look for fall. (This one comes in a myriad of colors.) A big scarf and tunic is a fail proof look.
My other favorite piece of this fall uniform are the booties. Some people countdown to Christmas, I countdown to boot wearing weather. I’ve gravitated towards a darker brown in past years but this lighter suede shade is exactly what I was looking for this year. (I also love the khaki color too!) I’m so excited to already have my booties for this fall. When that first crisp day comes, you know I’ll be ready.
